Nagamma Karvi, a single mother of two daughters, was residing in a hut made of coconut leaves in Koderi, Kirimanjeshwara Village. She lost her husband at a young age and worked in other households to feed and educate her children. Tragically, she also lost her only son and was struggling with her two daughters in difficult conditions. Upon approaching Sri Varalakshmi Charitable Trust, Govinda Babu Poojari visited the family, understood their plight, and immediately initiated the construction of a home for them. The new house was handed over to Nagamma Karvi and her family, with local dignitaries and family members in attendance.
