Millions of poor labourers were struggling to access food and rations during COVID lockdown to keep themselves and their families safe. Sri Varalakshmi Charitable Trust ® has distributed free food kits to people in Byndoor taluk and nearby area. The trust led by Govinda Babu Poojari has distributed around 14,000 food kits in 2020 and 9,000 foodd kits in 2021.
